Herbaut-chloe-2

Dear #balladiners,

Knowing that for balladins, an all-year-long proximity with its clients, franchisees and colleagues is fundamentally in its DNA, we had the idea to meet our franchisees hoteliers to know WHY they are so emotionally attached to our brand…

For more objectivity and transparency, Chloé, our daring and fresh Sales and Marketing trainee accepted the mission! With her usual enthusiasm and dynamism, Chloé picked 5 questions to ask David Renier, balladins Pau/Lons hotel Owner and President of the balladins Franchisees Association.

Now, it’s Chloé’s turn! All the very best to you.

Fabrice Beyer, Sales & Marketing Director

All alone on board… finally.

To quickly understand what are exactly balladins’ hotels and who are balladins’ franchisees, I decided to question first of all, the franchisees representative : David Renier. Equipped and motivated, I invite you to follow me in my first step, Pau, in the West South of France.

Chloé: Hello David and thank you for accepting this interview. First of all, could you briefly introduce us your hotel, its location and its specificities?

David Renier: Hello Chloé and thank you for thinking of me! I am David RENIER, the balladins Franchisee in Pau/Lons, managing this 2-star hotel of 48 rooms. We are located in Pau’s economic area and our place, as a gate of town center, favors clientele diversification. We reopened our restaurant 4 years ago. It strengthens our convivial atmosphere which is a strength to be differentiated from the competitors.

C: In fact, one more gourmet step in Pau, I confirm! For how many years are you in the balladins network David?

D. R.: I am a balladins’ Franchisee for 5 years now and I took the Franchisees Association presidency 4 years ago. It is a volunteer and time consuming engagement but essential to understand, participate and make advance our network. Our role consists in controlling and approving how the marketing budget shared by Franchisees and Franchisor is used. Moreover, I am an elected interlocutor so I embody all franchisees in our relationships with the franchisor.

C: Well, a management position! What are, for you, balladins advantages?

D.R.: The network conviviality showed through all our meetings and all the franchise leaders accessibility is appreciated every day.

C: I know that exchanges and talks are important in the network, and in each level I see it is really appreciated. As President of the balladins Franchisees Association, do you feel cohesion in the balladins network?

D.R.: I think, this network has a good future. balladins is in extension and only a development enables us to play our cards right for next years. Our brand is a wonderful jewelry case and it is necessary to continue to fill it with
