The castle is open every day for guided tours or walks, from April to the end of September.
The 16th and 17th century castle is located in a superb 10-hectare beech forest. The Marquis de Miromesnil, owner of the premises in the 18th century, is mentioned in the salons of the castle, as well as Guy de Maupassant, born in Miromesnil on August 5, 1850. The park and the traditional vegetable garden are dominated by a bicentennial Lebanese cedar which still supplies the castle with flowers, fruits and vegetables. The rows of vegetables are well organized, but the exuberance of the flower beds surrounds them. In the woods there is a magnificent, listed chapel with stained glass windows and polychrome statues from the 16th century.
